Fragments Dragonfire Station Book 2 eBook Zen DiPietro

The second book of the Dragonfire Station series picks up right where the first book, Translucid, left off. Fallon has reunited with her team, although not her memories, and together they have set off to earth to try and solve the mystery of why her team was split up, and her memories seemingly erased.

This middle book in the series gives us a lot more insight into the main characters, although there's no shortage of action as well. Fallon is a really complex personality, who gets more interesting the more we find out about her. She and her teammates have a very complex relationship as well. They are four people who have put their lives in each others' hands for many years, too long to be mere coworkers. Their relationship is more like family, although at times a slightly incestuous one.

The story moves the plot along and sets the pieces and the players up for the third and final volume. The ending is not exactly a cliffhanger, but close enough to make it unthinkable not to read the next book to see what happens. This series is proving to be very solid story telling. Not only are the characters well developed and largely devoid of the common clichés of the genre, but the story line, while recognizable, is original, well crafted and meticulous.

Fragments Dragonfire Station Book 2 eBook Zen DiPietro Reviews

As expected, this second in the series is exceptional. Love the way the story line keeps me waiting on the next corner to be turned.
A very enjoyable second part of the Dragonfire Station series! Thank you Ms DiPietro for giving us more of Fallon's journey of self re-discovery (so to speak) and the ultimite realitization that she about to undertake her (and Avian Unit's) most dangerous mission.Very much looking forward to reading part three!
It's hard to say what I liked best about this book without giving a spoiler. Reading it for yourself is my advice.
Terrific. I've read all 3 books and couldn't.put them down until I FINISHED all.
This book is even better than the first one, a great read. I am looking forward to reading the third one tomorrow.
Enjoyed this second installment just as much as the first. The characters seem like old friends and the memory loss theme makes is a terrific vehicle for fleshing them all out even more while filling in small gaps in the plot. This definitely left me impatient to see where their struggle takes them next.
FRAGMENTS is a very enjoyable second book in the Dragonfire series. It answers a lot of questions and clears up a lot of problems, all the while leaving a lot of room for more books to follow. The main character is well-delineated and likeable, even admirable. The Bird Team members, ditto. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more in the series.
